Classic Diner Beef Burger

The all American classic diner burger combines crisp lettuce, sharp red onion, fresh juicy tomatoes and slices of cheese. A good tip is to slice the onions thinly and blanch them for about 20 seconds in boiling water, this removes some of the harshness.


Big Al’s Flame Grilled 4 oz Quarter Pounder Beef Burger
Floured or seeded bun
Red Onion – sliced
Tomato – sliced
Slices of cheese – such as Red Leicester, Cheddar or Lancashire


1. Take a Big Al’s Flame Grilled Beef Burger cooked as per heating instructions
2. Toast the bun and place the hot burger on the base
3. Scatter the red onion, lettuce, tomato, relish and sliced cheese on top
4. Serve with crisps and a salad garnish or with chips for a more complete meal
